We will upgrade the firmware of several backbone routers to keep our infrastructure stable, secure, and ready for the future.
Impact:
We do not expect any service interruptions. As our backbone network is fully redundant, all systems will remain available. You may, however, experience a slight increase in latency during the maintenance window.
Issues with Core Router

Replaced core routers over a span of 3 days, downtime occured.

Network maintenance

We were able to solve the packet loss issue and are implementing all redundancies that were removed during the debugging of the issue back into the network infrastructure. To do so we have to conduct network maintenance on 12.08.2025 19:00 CEST. The network will be offline for around 60 minutes. After the downtime we expect packet loss for the following hours until everything is back to normal.
Scheduled reboots
