In order to improve the quality of the Elastic Network (EN) we are planning a network maintenance on Wednesday 24th of November 2021 between 06:00 GMT+1 and 08:00 GMT+1.

During this maintenance we will upgrade our Top of Rack switches which are connected to one or more of your EN services.

All EN services are connected with redundant uplinks but during the upgrade the Top of Rack switches will reload once, which could cause a short disruption.

If your services are correctly configured with LACP, we expect the impact to be minimal .

The upgrade will have two phases. In the first phase we will upgrade one part of our switch "pairs". Each switch pair consists of 2 switches, during this upgrade the switches will be reloaded one-by-one, with a total downtime of 15 minutes per switch. This means that at all times at least 1 switch will be active. After everything is back online, we will perform checks and wait for another 30 minutes before we continue with the second part of the upgrade.
